Since its creation in 1994, Emplois Compétences has reinvested more than $4 million in the community through training, scholarships, school equipment purchases, donations to causes it cares about and innovative projects. These measures are part of the company’s mission to give back to the market in which we operate.

Every year, through its social committee, Emplois Compétences gets involved in causes that are important to its employees by donating time.

Our actions are guided by one central promise that we have taken to heart: meeting today’s needs in order to build tomorrow.


Environmental Commitments

Emplois Compétences received its first ICI on recycle + certification on June 1, 2017. Two years later, Recyc-Québec renewed this certification to highlight our ongoing sustainable development efforts.

Emplois Compétences believes in taking daily action and building green habits. For example, we recycle, compost and no longer buy single-use water bottles.

In addition, we have a 100% electric car and two charging stations at our Sherbrooke office to allow our employees who drive electric cars to recharge them during the day.

Our Green Committee keeps an eye out to inform the whole team of the best environmental practices we can adopt, both in the office and at home.
